Harold Rader, 88, Kansas City, KS, passed away July 29, 2011 at Pinnacle Ridge Nursing Home. Harold served his country as a member of Air Force during WW II. After his service he was a milkman for Myers Dairy, among others. He loved telling jokes, and seeing the smile he left on the faces of friends and strangers alike. He loved his family very much. Harold was preceded in death by his parents Leslie and Bertha Rader, a son Harold Rader Jr., and a brother Charles Rader. He is survived by his wife Betty, children Wanda MacPherson (Dave), Marilee Herd, Deanne Jonscher (Charles), James Rader (Esther) and Laura Gonzalez (Paul), 2 sisters, Ilene Heath and Lola Smith, and a brother, Danny Rader. Also surviving Harold are 10 grandchildren; Nancy, Fred, Charles, Randy, Brian, Gary, Dustin, Melissa, James “J.J.”, and Daniel, along with 20 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A visitation will be held from 6-8 PM Thursday, August, 4, 2011 at the Warren McElwain Eudora Chapel, 1003 John L. Williams Rd. Eudora, KS. A military graveside will be held at 10 AM, Friday, Aug. 5th at Leavenworth National Cemetery, 150 Muncie Road, Leavenworth KS.
