Helen Soseman was born on 9/4/1914, in Bloomfield, Iowa. Her parents were James E. and Rena Trickler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ned A. Soseman, who she married in 1942, and by her sister, Lucile Crouch of Scottsdale, Ariz. She leaves one son, Ned Jr., his wife Janet; two grandchildren, Matthew and Paul, and Paul’s wife, Sara. She also leaves two step grand daughters, Ashley Prater, Erica Prater, and two step great grandchildren, Ian and Rachel. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Prairie Village, Kan., where she belonged to the to the former Ruth Circle. She was Salutatorian of her high school class and her first job was teaching in one-room schoolhouses in Iowa. She lived in Prairie Village, Kan., most of her life, where she was Republican Precinct Committeewoman for 44 years. She also had a house at the Lake of the Ozarks, which she dearly loved. She moved to the Grand Court I in Kansas City, Mo., in 2003. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday 11/11, at the Faith Lutheran Church, 4805 W. 67th St., Prairie Village Kan.
