When I started my career in the mail room right out of high school I remember Ron as a gentleman who was always kind and friendly to a new kid with a new job and not knowing my way around all the mail stops. Tony was one of my Theresa’s best friends at Panhandle and I enjoyed her friendship also when I transfered to Gas Supply. My only regret is not getting to know Ron better.
God bless and keep you and all your family.
As a young man, I looked up to Ron Lockman as a role model. He encouraged his girls to achieve, applying their many gifts and talents. He took a real interest in people and made them feel valued. He laughed easily and had a keen sense of humor. He could also speak with authority on the events of the day. Always ready for a pickup game of basketball, I appreciated and learned much from Mr. Lockman’s competitive spirit. Despite the years and the miles, I will always remember his kindness, so generously and freely given. My prayers are with his family at this time of an earthly parting as the Lord calls, but the confidence and joy of a reunion in eternity. JOB 19: 25-26, ROMANS 3: 24.
