Jack D Runer

Jack D Runer, 69, of Raytown, MO died October 18,2022 in Columbia, MO.

Born May 2,1953 in Iola, KS to Harvey Earl Runer and Mima Lou Weddle.  He attended Silver Lake High School and served 9 and a half years in the United States Marine Corp.  He was also an AT&T Operator for 10 years.  Jack was also a truck driver for 15 years before he retired in 2020.

He is survived by; his wife Susan Runer of Raytown, MO; Daughter Jaclyn Smith (Ken) of Wauseon, OH; step-children; Amanda Shields (Joseph) of Henderson, NV; Joel Friedrich (Lois) of Independence, MO; Mark Meyer of Raymore, MO; grandchildren; Brittany Pontious of Wauseon, OH; Justin Lowe of Garden Grove, CA; Tyler Coffman; Trevor Coffman; Trenton Coffman of Raytown, MO; Candace Shields; Patience Shields of Atchison, KS; Hailey Pitts of Raytown, MO; Zach Meyer of Raymore, MO; Liam Friedrich; Leland Friedrich; Kinsley Friedrich of Independence, MO; & 7 great-grandchildren..

A celebration of life will be at Connection Point Church of Raytown, MO, date to be determined.
Family suggest donations to Hope Network of Raytown, MO in honor of Jack.

    Jack I miss you so much. You were my best friend. You were always there when I needed you, especially when I lost my dad and when I was haunted by terrible nightmares. I did my best to be there for you too. When you married Susan I knew you would be in good hands. I know how much you love her and that you were in good hands and I didn’t have to worry about you. See you again one day.
