Jackson L. ‘Jack’ Burns

Jack Burns, 73, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away June 28, 2016 at home from cancer.  A celebration of life will be held from 3-6 PM, Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Mike Onka Memorial Hall, 11520 Putnam St, Independence, MO 64054. Mr. Burns was born February 14, 1943 in Kansas City, Missouri.  He was preceded in death by his parents August and Bertha Burns, brother August Burns, Jr., sister Phyllis Comstock and a son Michael McNally.   He is survived by his wife Yvonne, children; Tom (Lisa) of Independence, Mo, Jack Jr. of Albert Lea, Minnesota, Jim (Myrt) of Orlando, Florida, Jackie of Independence, Missouri, Mary (Bob) of Kansas City, Missouri and Scott of Kansas City, Missouri, 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
