Jerry Gascic

Jerry Gascic was born on December 6, 1965, and passed away peacefully at home on December 29, 2025.

Jerry lived a life shaped by love, loss, and resilience. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Trish Gascic; his son, Damien Gascic; his brother, Butch Murphy; and his mother, Colleen Murphy—each of whom he carried with him every day.

He leaves behind his daughter, Candace Gascic (Justin Long); his son, Jeremy Gascic; and the greatest joys of his life, his grandchildren: Collin, Rylee, Jordan, and Atticus. He is also survived by his sisters, Bridgid and Michelle.

Jerry was rough around the edges and never pretended to be something he wasn’t. He wasn’t always soft-spoken or easy, but he loved with his whole heart and stood fiercely loyal to those he cared about. If you were in his circle, you mattered—deeply.

Some of Jerry’s happiest moments were spent with his grandchildren, whether just being near them, watching them grow, or talking about them with pride. He enjoyed hunting, a glass of American Honey, and living life his own way, on his own terms.

Jerry will be remembered for his grit, his honesty, his stubborn strength, and the deep love he had for his family. Though he may not have always said it out loud, his love was constant and true. His absence leaves a space that cannot be filled, and he will be missed more than words can say.

A Celebration of Life will be held, Saturday January, 3rd, 3pm – 5pm, at Fairytale Estates, 8287 State Hwy. 15 Mexico, MO 65265.

In lieu of flowers, the family gratefully accepts memorial donations to Heartland Cremation for funeral services.
