I will miss Jody. He was my middle son and the best father!!,the most giving loving hard working son I had and all he ever wanted was to be loved and accepted. Even though I was just his “wicked Step-mother “that was always a joke, for 19+ years I loved him and he knew that. I will miss you Jody.

I remember you from when you were a little baby. And when you were a little boy and I watched you grow into a young man. I was always proud to have you as my nephew and I also bragged on you when I had the opportunity. Loving Uncle Lester I’ll see you again when we are with JESUS

Jody and I have spent the last 15 years interacting in each others lives. We spent ten of those years together trying to learn and grow with each other. During that time we were blessed with two beautiful and loving children, Brianna and Drew.
Jody had a very loving and giving nature about him. He always tried to do whatever he could to help his friends out when they needed it. All he wanted in return was to be loved and accepted by the people around him. As with everyone he faced struggles in life as well and sometimes found things difficult to deal with. Although, we had some volatile situations in our lives we also had many great times as well. I am truly thankful for the memories we have made together as a family and I will continue to cherish and share them. I worry for our children that they will be able to make sense of all of this and that they will be alright. This is a very sad and difficult time in my life as well as all I ever wanted was for Jody to find peace and happiness in his life. I have always had love for him, and he will always carry a place in my heart. I now know that he has found the peace that he deserved to have.

Jody know that we all love you and may you rest in peace. Watch over our children and guide them to full and successful lives in the future.
With lots of love you will be greatly missed.

    My friend Jody
Seventeen years we hung together, never not one fight or argument. Not that we felt like it, but for some reason we knew it would be better to leave it alone for the friendship!
I have a lot of friends, but never one that believed in me as much as my buddy Jody.Even when it seemed like no one else did, I knew he without a doubt had faith in me. Now that I think about it he knew he was one of my best friends, but I tell you he was the best friend. We loved each other like brothers. I’ll miss him! I’ll never forget him! No matter whatever happens, I’m here to tell you he was a great guy. I couldn’t of asked for a better friend. I love you buddy!
