My sympathy to Glo and family all the way from Arkansas.
John was the big brother that I only could have hoped to be like. John was an inspiration to me that motivated me to get into the healthcare field. John was the example that I only could have hoped to aim for.
I will miss him forever.

Dr. John Patterson was a great man with a loving family who will be dearly missed. My thoughts and heart go out to Gloria, Luke, and Mark. I have some pretty good memories of Luke’s Dad keeping us in check while going through high school. My deepest sympathies…

My thoughts and prayers are with Dr. Patterson’s family. I had the opportunity to work with him in the past year and he always brightened my day.
To: Gloria – Dr. Patterson was who he was because of you. I wish everyone could have known his gentle spirit. To Marc and Luke – I hope one of you has inherited his sense of humor and one of you his incredible business sense. You have my sympathy and love. Jacque
“JP” was one of a kind. He loved working with the veterans and was very out spoken to say the least. He pulled no punches about the way he felt. My best memory would be when he was interviewing someone and the vet assaulted him. He called the code orange but by the time we arrived he had went one way and his leg went the other. We all had a great laugh about it. My deepest sympathy goes out to his wonderful family. Just remember he is never really gone. We each will carry him in our hearts until we meet again on the other side. He will be sadly missed but never forgotten. Love Ann
Gloria, I feel so sad with you and send many greetings from the other side of the ocean.I wish you much strength in this heavy times. Love Elisabeth

I worked with Dr. Patterson for years and we had several visits throughout that time. I knew him well enough to know he was a good man.
My sympathy to Glo and all the family. John seemed like part of our family. I only wish we’d had the chance to meet in person.

Glo, Mark, Luke,
I wanted to share with you some wisdom from my six year old Ryan who recently lost his Father on Christmas Eve. It seems a six year old can put it in the simplest terms. As he sat on my lap and spoke of his Father he said; “You know, Poppy, when you love someone in your heart they stay with you forever” Bless you all.
John was one of my very special friends whom I shall remember as long as I live.
John will be missed but never forgotten, he was always gentle and I was honored to serve him, I especially liked the conversations we had about his travels and family, Glor, please say “hi” from time to time, anytime, all my love and consideration, Gary

Dr. Patterson mentored me in my psychiatry residency in the 1980s. He literally saved my life and marriage by his advice and example. I will always have great respect and appreciation for him. I look forward to seeing and communicating with him in our next existence.
