John M. Martin, 79, Lee’s Summit, Missouri passed away June 12, 20112. John was born January 5, 1934 in Kansas City, Missouri. He will be remembered as a loving family man and devoted truck driver of 52 years. He is a Korean War Navy Veteran. Survivors include his wife, Kristina, of the home; daughter, Vivian Martin; sons, John Martin, Anthony Martin, Mark Martin; daughters, Pam Woodward, Jeannie Emery; sons, Darrel Woodward, Brian Woodward; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
John was a great man. He was a loving father and grandfather. He will be missed.
John was a great man and I can only imagine how heaven shines even brighter with him there. My husband and I were thinking back about John and one thing we remember we’re his dreams of having land and a ranch . My Husband said he must have his beautiful land and ranch now and open fields to rome free and painless now in heaven for his good deeds here on earth.
When I remember John I think of the years I witnessed his love he had for his grand kids . I picture Cassandra in his lap being comforted by him or them giggling . He was a very good , strong family man and he will be greatly missed by his family deeply. I know he’s smiling down watching over all his beautiful grand babies . We love you guys And you are in our prayers!
