John Roach, 61, Kansas City, Missouri passed away February 10, 2022 at the Kansas City VAMC. A visitation will be held 2:00-3:00 PM, Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, Missouri. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM. Military burial will be held 9:00 AM, Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kansas. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dementia Society of America.
John was born November 29, 1960 in Kansas City, Missouri. He served in the US Navy, his service taking him around the World. John went on to work in the siding and window business for over 30 years. He spent most of his time in Kansas City, Missouri raising his two children; Doyle & Miranda. He loved his family, friends and animals more than anything else. John was a kind and loving man, known for his sense of humor. He loved to work on and ride his Harley, attend Chiefs games and travel to new places. No matter the circumstance, you would always leave with a story of something funny/crazy John did while you were with him.
He is preceded in death by his father, Fred Roach. Survivors include; mother, Anna Roe; daughter, Miranda Roach; son, Doyle Roach; brother & sister-in-law, Tim & Deborah Roach; brother, Randy Roach; many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Gonna miss you my friend. Lots of great memories. See you again one day!

A special son. Rembering our last few months spending weekends at home. Mom Mom Mom! I left extra food out for him so he would think he was getting into his treats! without me knowing. Always so loving and we enjoyed our special. His brother Randy came always came when he was here and took him for rides

We send our condolences to your family John was a funny guy and loved life he served his country and kept in touch with people he served with. I remember when he cans the kids came to California it was great seeing them RIP John you will be missed

John, you will be missed, you helped me out the most when I needed it. Always made a laugh out of the worst of work days. I can honestly say I wouldn’t be where I am today without out you.
