Joseph M. Bonomo, 78, Raymore MO, formerly of historic Northeast Kansas City, MO. Our beloved father went to be with the Lord on August 8, 2009. Joe was a born again Catholic. He was a veteran of the Korean war. A journeyman pressman of Graphics Communications Local Union number 16C for over 35 years, 24 of which he never missed a day of work. He happily retired in 1993. There will be a visitation from 6 to 7 PM on Monday August 10, 2009 at Heartland Cremation and Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, MO, with a memorial service to be held at 7. Burial will be held at 10 AM Tuesday August 11, 2009 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 7601 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents Antonino and Josephine Lo Dolce Bonomo, brothers Sam, Mario, Tom, and Frank Bonomo of Kansas City, MO, and Sister Pearl Runfola of Pico Rivera, CA. Survived by daughters, JoAnn Bonomo MacKay and Toni Jo Ford of the home and RoseLinda Owens and husband Bud, and Grandson Nino Joseph Owens, former wife and mother of his children, Josephine R. Balano Bonomo, 6 nephews, 2 nieces and many family and friends. A special thank you to caregivers Clayton and Debbie Stites and KC Hospice House. He will be dearly missed by all.

We were in Lamar, Mo over the weekend for Alan’s family. Alan bought the Sunday KC Star and we saw where your dad had passed away. We are very sorry in your loss and have been praying for all of you. We are still living in Pensacola, FL. We love and bless all of you that the Holy Spirit will bring comfort in this time of loss.
