Mrs. Martin was favorite of mine in high school. She was a supportive tennis coach. I spoke with her a few years ago and she remembered me which was a pleasant surprise. (Class of ’79).

Joy Martin was my physical education teacher my freshman year in high school. I enjoyed her class, and she was a good teacher. (Goddard, Class of ’79). However, I was so surprised when I went to a Haines family function with husband, Mark (son of Ron & Doris Haines), and there was Joy. I had no idea that they were related, but we had some wonderful visits over the years. I will always remember her fondly.
