Judith (Judi) Louise Carl Parker

Judith (Judi) Louise Carl Parker, 80, of Overland Park Kansas, passed away Friday, May 20, 2022, in Olathe, Kansas, surrounded by family members. She was born to the late Dorothy Virginia and Austin Ledon Carl on August 10, 1941, in Kansas City, Missouri. 

Judi is survived by 2 children: Adam Lee Parker and wife Jennifer, and Laura Jean Parker Floersch and husband Doug; 7 grandchildren: Leslie Anne, Laura Beth and husband Aaron, Jewell Elizabeth and husband Tyrell, Amy Louise and husband Dallas, Adam Lee II,  Joey Melissa, and Parker James;  6 great-grandchildren: DJ, Hunter, Reagan, Lilli, Sawyer and Hans; 2 brothers: Kenneth and wife Gwendolen, and Craig; and nephew Andrew. Judi was predeceased by 2 sisters: Dolores and Margorie.

Judi graduated from Southwest High School in 1958. She married Donald Lee Parker in 1961 and had 2 children. She eventually raised her children as a single mother in Overland Park, Kansas.  She had a professional career which spanned many industries, including transportation and communication. She played an active role in all her grandchildren’s lives, helping raise them into fine adults.  Judi was an excellent seamstress and embroiderer, creating many items through the years for family and friends. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, playing board games and attending their sporting events. She was well loved by all her family and many friends.
