Julie Ann Larson

JULIE ANN LARSON
8/17/1959 – 12/19/2021

Born in Des Moines IA to Helen Cox Larson and Virgil Larson, Julie was a sweet child with an adventurous streak. Julie graduated from Hoover High School in Des Moines and later received software certifications that made her an invaluable employee.

Julie loved deeply and asked for little. Her family and friends were loved but her cats were her constant companions. Known as a thoughtful gift-giver, she loved decorating for holidays. She was as sweet as the movies she loved on the Hallmark Channel. We will miss her pecan pies, traditional lace cookies and rice pudding.

Julie grew up in Des Moines, moved to Lincoln in 1998 to live with her mom and aunt, and moved with her mom to Kansas City in 2005. She was a loving daughter, enjoyed her times with her family and friends old and new.

Julie is survived by her brother, Virgil Larson II (Barbara); niece, Heather and James Campbell; nephew, Chad Larson; nephew, Eric and Danielle Larson; eight great-grands: Jordan Kennedy, Tori Larson, Samantha Campbell, Seth Larson, Karerra Meza, Jenny Campbell, Ethan Larson, Shelby Larson; cousins Jolene (Inbody) Schlichenmaier and Rick Inbody, both of Lincoln NE; cousins Leslie Dawson of Ashland OR; Robert Larson of Nampa ID; Debi Aswegan of Portland OR; and lifelong friend Anita Thomas of Des Moines. She is predeceased by her parents and her dear sister Polly.
