Karen Kay Goodrich

Karen Kay Goodrich, 79, Independence, Missouri passed away November 22, 2021 at Rosewood in The Groves from a terminal illness. No services are planned at this time.

Mrs. Goodrich was born March 18, 1942 in Chillicothe, Missouri to Roland and Geneva Siedel.  When she was young she me the love of her life Lee Goodrich and they were married on November 16, 1957.  They had three children, Matthew, Charles and Cynthia.  During her life she was a housewife and mother.  She obtained a computer programming degree and then an Elementary education degree and worked as a substitute teacher.  She was very faithful in supporting her husband in his priesthood and serving her church by making handmade greeting cards.

She was preceded in death by her parents Roland and Geneva Siedel.

Karen is survived by her husband of 64 years, Lee Goodrich, her brother Keith Siedel and sister Karla DeLaossa, her sons Matthew Goodrich and wife Ester, Charles Goodrich and wife Molly and daughter Cynthia Hoffman and husband Jim, four grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
