Kevin Vinyard

Kevin Wayne Vinyard of Windsor, Missouri, born February 18, 1960 to Mary Lee Wright and Lawrence Edward Vinyard, passed away in his home on June 24, 2017. He was 57.

Kevin was a kind and caring man who was always willing to help others, whether he knew you or not. His goofy grin reflected his humorous personality and he delighted in bringing joy to others. More than anything, Kevin loved, and was extremely proud, of his sons, each of whom were his favorite. Kevin, and those who knew him, were all shaped by the love, twisted humor and experiences that were had with him.

Kevin was also hard headed and ornery, so he’d follow through with all of his crazy, ill advised notions. He could be frustrating, irritating and single minded, but most of all he was loved and will be missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings Lawrence, Gerald, Richard, Bobby, Raymond and Sue Ellen.

He is survived by his companion Rose Vinyard and her son Anthony and grandchildren Rosalynn and Chris, his siblings Deborah Griffin and Gina Vinyard, his many nephews and nieces, his sons Larry, Joshua, Kaleb and Jonathan, and his grandchildren Nathaneal, Kaiden and Ethan.

His services will start at 11 on Saturday, July 1st at 501 W 38th St N, Independence, MO 64050.

I am sorry for the loss of a brother, father and friend. I can’t imagine the depth of the family’s sadness.
Kevin Wayne brought us fun and happiness when he lived in California. We won’t forget that time. He fought hard to come back from his accident. He is having a good time with his family in Heaven. Peace to you all.

So sorry for the loss of another family member. He was such a cute little boy, who grew into a fine young man. It’s apparent by comments of friends and family,, he was well loved. He’s with family, surrounded by angels. May he rest in peace.

When he was here, he was so loved by the kids and all. He was a kind, caring man. Everyone we all went fishing on the peer, people who needed to talk or whatever, gravitated to him. He was always kind. Bless him and all of you. He sure ended up looking like Jerry, wow.
