Lennie’s health began to fail and she became a longtime resident at John Knox Village Home, until her final days. The book of life was closed for Lennie on November 8, 2019.

I wish that I could be there in participation with cousin Lennie Belle’s homegoing. However I would like to say that if it was not for cousin Lennie Belle I would not know anything about powdered milk, bleach bath’s and pork n beans with hotdogs. I still utilize 2 of 3 right now today. No one ever got sick behind the powder milk and bleach bath’s help to keep you from getting bit by bugs!
In all essence I love this woman because she kept it together. I never understood how she had 10 children plus all of us and spake so softly but I got 4 and scream to the top of my lungs! She would graciously tell us “Now go lay down it’s time to take a nap.” I found every excuse to try and go with Christy but most of the time she’d be gone.
I remember waking up from my nap early and seen you sitting in the kitchen window looking up in the sky and you said you was watching the birds…now you have your wings to fly higher than the sky!
I love you cousin rest peacefully! The memories you left not only myself with but the wisdom as well is priceless soar on! Don’t forget to travel to Texas I know you can now!

A woman of extreme strength, courage and love, who was beautiful, soft and now peaceful and free as a dove.
Someone on who our admiration was built around, for her womanhood, wife, friend and grandmother since she was brought into this ground.
My Darling Grandma, we will forever hold in our hearts in which we have truly learned the most from, your strength as a wonderful mother to our mothers and fathers, and which we hope to gain in raising your great grandsons and great granddaughters.

My darling grandma, we will always respect all you went through in your hardships and distinguished ways, your ability to hold yourself with such dignity and pride in all your days.
Your beauty shines in us all who were lucky to be part of your devoted family.
We will carry you in our eyes, minds, and hearts. My Darling Grandma, you are taking a little part of us with you and
May you look down on us with pride on what you brought
into this world with your guidance in which you are now
    truly our angel of grace.

My Darling Grandma, as you enter your new heavenly home,
may you rest in peace for which you truly deserve,
For you will be truly missed and remembered for your love and honor in which we will preserve.
We love you always and forever and may God be with you. ?

I hope that if I reach the age of 89yrs., my mind could be that sharp . More than anything I was grateful to kiss and hold her for my last time and share some past memories she spoke concerning my mother Esther and my siblings .Praying 4U family , love you much and God bless you .
