Linda Lee Higgins

With great sadness we share the passing of our beloved wife and mother, Linda L. (Hagans) Higgins on June 18th, 2024. She passed peacefully, surrounded by family, at her home in New Bloomfield.

Visitation will be held at 9am Saturday June 29th, 2024, with services following at 10am at Carrington Baptist Church 3301 State Hwy. H, Fulton, MO 65251

Linda Lee Hagans was born August 1st, 1945 in Jefferson City, Missouri to Frank and Opal (Pendleton) Hagans. Before graduating from Jefferson City High school in 1964, Linda spent her childhood growing up in Fulton, Missouri where her father owned and operated Hagans-Marsch Grocery. Linda was employed as an Administrative Assistant in the Athletic Department at the University of Missouri, retiring after 25 years. She was then employed at Boone Electric, retiring in 2012.

She was a former member of Calvary Baptist Church in Fulton and a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Hartsburg.

Linda enjoyed retirement and stayed busy gardening, canning, doing crossword puzzles, quilting, embroidery and traveling to 48 states with her husband Roger.

She looked forward to her monthly lunches with the “Golden Girls” and her Friday outings with her daughters. Most of all, she loved being a wife, mother and Mimi.
