Linda Louise Leonard

Linda Louise Leonard, age 74, of California, Missouri, passed away peacefully Friday, February 11, 2022, in Jefferson City.  Linda was born January 19, 1948 in Elizabeth, Arkansas to Hayden Doyle and Mary Louise (Ware) Skidmore.

Her fondest memories were spending time with her family, she cherished time with them. Her children include:  Paul (Michelle) Schlup II, Gary (Dana) Schlup, Patrick Schlup and Debbie (Jerry) Rosslan.  She also had eight grandchildren:  Natalie Schlup, Hayden Schlup, Madison Schlup, Chloe Schlup, Brody Schlup, Kelcee Rosslan, Lizzie Rosslan and Luke Rosslan.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her step-mother Gladys Skidmore.

A Visitation and Memorial Service will be held February 21, 2022 at 6 PM at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, California, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church or to the donor’s choice.

    Linda will be greatly missed by me her cousin Jerry, there was never a day she did not check to see if I was okay, it’s ironic she pass in February near Valentine’s Day she was a definition of love she loved everyone and she especially loved her family all of her children, grandchildren. I miss her so much and always will, Rest in the Peace Linda you so deservingly need.

    Linda will be missed as a cousin. I always enjoyed playing with her as a little girl. Many nice memories. She had a sweet spirit. My sympathies to her family from an Oklahoma cousin.
