Lorene Lipka, 85, Kansas City, Missouri passed away September 30, 2014. A visitation will be held 1:00-2:00PM, Friday, October 3, 2014 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, MO. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM. Burial in Brooking Cemetery, Raytown, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice.
Lorene was born March 26, 1929 in Gainsville, Missouri at home to Elmer and Nellie Simmons. She lived and grew up on a farm in Gainsville, MO with her seven brothers and sisters. Lorene left home to work in a nearby town where she met her husband of 55 years. They were married April 16, 1950 in Salem, Arkansas.
She is preceded in death by; her husband, Thomas Lipka; parents, brothers and sisters and granddaughter, Ruby Belton. Lorene is survived by; five children, Neal Lipka, Barbara Lipka, Paula Roesler (John), Laurie Belton (Lacey), Phillip Lipka and ten grandchildren, Lisa Hathaway (Richard), Jennifer Urquhart (Jack), Scott Roesler, Julie Lewis (Robert), Neal Lipka II, Christopher Lipka, Jeffery Lipka, Darrell Lipka, Tanner Lipka, Alyssa Lewis, Kiera Lewis, John Paul Roesler, Katherine Lipka, Neil Lipka II and numerous nieces and nephews.
