Luther Murray Rhodes

Luther M. Rhodes, 73, of Pleasant Hill, Missouri passed away April 6, 2021 at Pleasant Hill Health &Rehabilitation Center. Graveside services will be held at 1:30pm, Monday, April 26, 2021 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Pleasant Hill, MO.  

Luther was a devoted son, very close to his mother Gladys and father Joed. He loved to cook and loved horses. Luther worked as a farm hand on a horse farm, as a cook for his uncle’s restaurant, and also for a greenhouse where he injured his back and had to retire. After retiring, he enjoyed doing crafts and making jewelry. He was loved by most people who met him. Luther passed away peacefully in his sleep. 

He was preceded in death by: parents, Joed and Gladys; and brother, J.C.

Survivors include: brother, Larry Rhodes and wife Helen and their son Jayson Kingsolver and son Austin; brother, Jamie Rhodes and wife and son Justin Rhodes and his kids, Garret and Kendal; son, Kyle and wife Angie and their kids, Clint and Amy; daughter, Dana and son-in-law Matt Shuhan and sons, Maciah and Lincoln; son, Damon Rhodes and wife Jennifer and daughter, Zoey; son, Kevin Squire and family; children of the late J.C. Rhodes, son William Rhodes and family, daughter, Naomi Rhodes and girls, Cara Jo, Kendra, Ky and Courtney; and many family and friends.
