Marie C. Snapp (nee) Crocetti, 101 years young, passed away on March 14, 2022. A Celebration of Life will be held at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, Raytown, on Saturday, April 23, 2022. Born on February 10, 1921 in Westchester PA , the family eventually moved to Baltimore, MD. In 1942, she married Frederick A. Eder, and they had two children, Diane (Inge) of West Virginia and Barbara (Jerry) Wiggenjost of Liberty, MO. She worked in Maryland at Central Police District as a Clerk Typist II for many years until an unfortunate accident ended her career. She lived in Boyce, VA, Savannah, GA, Orlando, FL, and moved to Liberty, MO in 1994.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nick and Eva Crocetti of Baltimore, MD, five brothers and two sisters, all of Maryland, and one grandchild.
Survivors include both daughters; brother, Howard (Mary) of Finksburg, MD; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
The one word to describe Aunt Marie is AMAZING! She was adventurous, brave, feisty, and smart. She lived life to the fullest and never let anyone or anything keep her down. She was also caring and helpful. She visited and helped my parents while in her 90’s (and, of course, let dad know when he was being too bossy with mom). Her life was an inspiration to all of us. My family and I will miss her.
