Martha Batton, age 81, of Independence, Missouri, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2025, from heart failure. She was born on April 6, 1944, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Charlie and Kathleen Harmon.
Martha dedicated more than 20 years of her life as a manager at Domino’s, where she was known for her strong work ethic and leadership. Outside of work, she enjoyed life’s simple pleasures—her favorite shaved ice and the comfort of her recliner. Above all, Martha cherished the time she spent with her family, who loved her deeply.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Kathleen Harmon; her husband, John Batton; her son, Stephen Batton; daughters-in-law, Sheila Batton and Patty Batton; and her granddaughters, Precious and Cierra Batton.
Martha is survived by her children: David Batton, Kevin Batton, Staci Batton, and Karen Andrade; 12 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service to celebrate Martha’s life will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, Missouri.
