Mary “M.J.” Jayne George
June 26, 1945 – December 7, 2025
It is with unsurmountable love in our hearts, we share the passing of Mary “M.J.” Jayne George (80) on December 7, 2025.
M.J. was creative in a way that lived in everything she touched — in the way she dressed, in the gifts she gave, and in the way she always showed up. Her makeup, nails, jewelry and outfits were never an afterthought; they were part of her art form, a reflection of a colorful spirit who didn’t believe in blending in. She lived life in bold vivid colors from the color of her hair right down to her nails — warm, bright, and genuinely one of a kind.
She was the type of Mom that cared deeply, supported us enthusiastically, showered us with gifts and ALWAYS knew our location. She made holidays sweeter, gatherings brighter, and everyday life feel a lot more special just by being near her. Her legacy will live on in the stories we share, the art she created and the joy she poured into her family and communities of friends.
M.J. leaves behind her four daughters, Natalie, Amber, Chelsea, and Rhonda, and her sons-in-law Nick and Alex. She was “Ya-Ya” to Jacob, Jessica, Megan, Adaira, Alivia, Owen, Noah, Trey, Oksana, Karma, Jude and Remy and was proud to live long enough to be a “Great-Ya-Ya” to five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers Jeff and Jack Leonard.
She is now reunited with her husband, Mitchell Sebastian George, whom she deeply loved throughout their many decades together — we imagine them dancing, traveling, watching movies, shopping, and ending each night hovering over Disney World for the fireworks display.

🤍• In honor of M.J., feel free to wear a little tie-dye or a little leopard print, your funnest nail polish, and don’t forget to “put on some lipstick!”— SHE and WE would truly LOVE that.
What a wonderful, unique lady MJ was. She always had a smile and a kind word. It was truly a blessing in my life to know such a beautiful woman.
MJ was loved by anyone that ever met her. There was no one like MJ. Afterall how many friends do you know that had a monkey 🐒 She loved life with an enthusiasm in a kaleidoscope of color and pattern. How many of your friends have a store filled with unique treasures.
MJ and Mitch was the reason I moved to LasVegas. They were our tour guide to a group of Station Casino Dealers that 5 out of the group ended up pursuing careers in the Casino Buisness.
MJ’s eyes would light up when she talked about her girls and Mitch.
She was so proud of her family and they were so proud of her.
I was blessed to call this wonderful Lady my friend. She will always be in my heart.
MJ was one of a kind. She was loved by so many. Her girls and family was her pride and joy. She is already so deeply missed. Hugs to all~
We spent many hours dancing at cactus Moon, and in Knoxville Tennessee. She was so much fun to be with! She was a wonderful person, and will be greatly missed!
Mary Jane was one of a kind. I met her in High School when I was a sophmore and she was always happy. She made my days a happy one. From high school to facebook, we always knew we were there for each other if we needed. God bless you MJ and may God keep you. Love, Pat.
May memories be everyone’s comfort. I am proud to call MJ my friend. My oldest daughter met her at Station and brought her and her family into my life. I worked with her for a little while before she retired from Ameristar. It was truly a blessing to know her.
MJ was a beautiful, loving and extreme talented woman. She loved with all her heart and was a blessing to my brother, Mitch, throughout his life. She was always there for her family and her love of life showed through her appearance and joy to be with people. Even though we didn’t see each other very much, I loved her and will miss her smiling face! I’m sure she is traveling the heavens with the love of her life now. Your journey here on earth is over but your travels continue in that next realm! Love you and will miss you.
MJ I am so grateful and lucky to have known you. You were one of kind and completely unforgettable. You had an infectious energy, and you raised a beautiful family. My heart goes out to you all.
I worked in the casino industry with her and also danced at Cactus Moon. We talked about the Chiefs and Royals. I always remember her smiling, never in a bad mood, unless the Chiefs lost. Lol. What a wonderful person. Ill never forget her kind words and support while going thru my divorce. Ill miss her. May her memory always be a blessing.
I’m so sorry to hear of MJ’s passing. She was always so kind to me!!! Sending love your way ❤️
She was one of my moms best friends. Pat Meyer. She was so much fun. My condolences to the family!
