Lisa and family, I was shocked to have read Marylou’s obituary in the Rapid City Journal dated April 24. Marilyn and I extend our sincerest and deepest condolences to you and all of the family. We have always been very thankful for Chuck and Marylou taking us under their wings when we newly arrived at the VA Medical Center in Hot Springs, SD during the month of August 1971. Our daughters Rebecca, Erica and Sara had many wonderful times spent with you and Kim at the VA playground; you used to create your own entertainment by putting on plays wearing special costumes. Our deepest condolences to Chuck who is a wonderful friend of ours. May God bless you all and grant you His comfort, peace and strength during this time.
