Max Edward Moore, 68, of Ashland, Missouri, passed away on August 16, 2023, at University Hospital. Max was born on September 18th, 1954, in Ottumwa, Iowa, the son of Arnold Moore and Fern Hinkle Moore. On July 2nd, 1977, he married Patricia Moore, and she survives the home. Max worked as a dump truck driver throughout his career. He had a strong passion for his work and was associated with Donlake Towing, Lonnie Nichols Trucking, and also enjoyed farming with Dickey Basnett.
Max had a rich family life and is survived by his wife, Patricia Moore, his daughter Shannon Bradshaw, his daughter Jennifer Evans, his grandsons Corey Bradshaw, Caleb Bradshaw, Myrel Evans, and Gabriel Evans. Granddaughter Chelsea Bradshaw, great-granddaughters Sophie Bradshaw, Bridgette Bradshaw, and Lyla Bradshaw. He also leaves behind his brothers, Timothy Moore and Warren Moore. Max was preceded in death by his 7 brothers and 3 sisters.
In his spare time, Max enjoyed watching old westerns on TV and spending quality time with his children and grandchildren. He had a special love for putting lights on his truck and listening to the scanner. Max was also skilled in fixing cars, trucks, and more. He had a fondness for drinking coffee and had a passion for demolition derbies.
A Celebration of Life for Max Moore will be held on September 23rd, 2023, at 3pm at the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Contributions in Max’s memory can be made to the Wounded Warriors Foundation. Please join us in honoring the life of Max Edward Moore, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Max will never be forgotten we will always have him in our hearts. Mikayla will always remember how he always gave her his jerky when he was around her. RIP Uncle Max until we see you again. Aunt Patty,Shannon, Jenny,& the rest of the family you are in our thoughts and prayers.

You will be miss Max. All we had to do was call and asking you could you go by and pick up the titles for car lot. And if Tommy ever need help Max would always come and help. Thank you Max for all you have done for us. You will be miss. Later Max.

I will always remember how you were always here for Lisa and I. You were always our favorite Uncle, Uncle Max. We love you Aunt Pat, Shannon, Jason, Jen Jen, grand kids and great grandkids. Uncle Max go rest high on that mountain and fly high. God received a heck of an angel when he got you.
46 years ago, I stood up as maid of honor when my friend Patty married the love of her life Max. There was never a doubt in my mind Max loved his wife, his children, his grandchildren and coffee. Definitely coffee.; ) He was a kind man, generous, and caring. Max will be missed by many. I’ll see you someday Max. In the meantime I’m sending my love to Patty and your family who are all going to miss you so so much.
So many memories, Max was a coffee buddy, my mechanic. my porch builder and most of all a great friend/Brother. Mom loved him ti pieces and smiled when he called her Mom or Grandma. Max , you leave a legacy that no one will forget. Love to Patty and the family.
