Morris Family, our hearts are with you.
I remember many times as a young man and even a teenager being at their home visiting and staying with them while at a meeting there in lee summit and even Gregory meeting. Tim and I would stay up late playing and singing together. Mr Morris would always smile and say good nite. He always welcomed me as tho I was one of his children and I felt so loved there. Lots of laughter and good conversation from him and all of family. Even mrs morris made me feel like another one of the kids.Mark, bonnie, tim,Brenda and john made me feel like i was their brother, i guess spiritually i am their brother but their love for me made me feel like i was physically their brother as well . So Mr Morris when you see my dad, Tom Griffin up there in Heaven, tell him I love him and miss him, and plan on seeing him and you and all saints again some day.
Milford and Jean have been a great, great influence to many and have left a legacy of faith and talent that will be a blessing to Christ’s church to the end. May God’s blessings be with the Morris Family.
With Love,

Grandpa was always full of knowledge. I will always remember the life lessons he would teach as a child into a young man and even into adulthood. Work ethic, doing the right thing, and a genuine love for Christ just to name a few. The last time we spoke he called me a good man and he was glad to know me. That meant alot to me, and I will miss him. Tell my mom I love her and I will see you all soon.
Milford came over once right after we had moved into our new place and immediately noticed how tall our apple trees were.’You need an apple picker’ he pronounced, and not knowing what he was talking about but totally caught up in his conviction, I agreed. Later that week he brought his picker over, and for $8, I used the handy long handled grappler to pick bushels and bushels of apples over the years. Wasn’t any hesitancy with Milford, he was all in and always straightforward.
Jean, Luke and I are very sorry for your lost. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time..
Bonnie and John,
I know your pain but I also know your belief in the resurrection. You will see Dad soon so continue his legacy by fighting the good fight and winning souls with your daily witness. I love you and send my prayers to your entire family.
