Norma Lou Robinson Lopez, 65, passed away on June 30th, 2016. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 3:30pm on Saturday, July 9th at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Columbia, MO. Norma was diagnosed with Stomach Cancer Stage 4 a month ago, and fought a short but strong battle.
Norma was born in Hays, Kansas on August 8th, 1950 to her parents Vance Leroy Robinson of Kansas, and Maria M. Lopez Lopez of Puerto Rico. She was the second of four siblings. Her family then moved to Puerto Rico when she was 1 year old. In November of 2015, Norma relocated to Boonville, MO.
All who knew her will remember her as a generous, beautiful, big-hearted, talented, strong woman who made friends everywhere she went. She followed her dreams and fought for what she held dear. She worked hard, very hard, and never gave up. Selfishness was not in her vocabulary. Her happy disposition was present even to her final moments.
Norma had a passion for music and played many instruments flawlessly. Her goal was to help children learn the universal language of music. She dedicated her life to this.
Norma is survived by her daughter, Olga (Shaun) Morris, grandchildren, Alexander and Katelyn, brother, Harold (Maria), sister Pamela (Reynaldo), and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by Joseph and Kathryn Caldas, and Rosemary Nell, of the home. Norma is preceded in death by her parents, Vance and Maria Robinson, and her brother Peter Frederick.
There are no words that will ever fully do her life justice. She will be missed dearly by all who loved her.

Tu sobrina Elizabeth
