Patricia R. Daugherty

Patricia R. Daugherty left us on January 20th 2021. Pat was the daughter of Ed and Jean Daugherty and one of ten children. She is survived by her daughter Jennifer, brothers Ed, Mike & Tom, and sisters Theresa and Elizabeth.

Pat was born in Enid, Oklahoma in 1952. As the child of an Airman, she and her siblings were regularly moved across the country and even lived in Germany. As an adult, she preferred a more stable address but her love of traveling never left.

Pat loved her Irish heritage and spent many years researching our family tree. She was the keeper of family photos, diligently converting decades of memories to a digital format.

She was an avid knitting enthusiast, giving most of her creations to charity including the native american community. She was a passionate animal lover, spending her retirement years dog sitting for friends and former coworkers.

She was never happier than when surrounded by family. She will be truly missed. A celebration of Pat’s life will be held July 23rd.

I’m so saddened to see that Pat has left us. She worked with me at the Discovery Channel Store and she was always a part of our group attending our reunions when we had them. She was categorically adored and even watched my cat for me when I could barely afford such a thing always giving me a reduced rate to help me out. Such a kind and wonderful woman. I haven’t worked with her since 2005, but she will always be remembered as a part our family.

I’m so sad to hear this. Pat and I worked together, took vacations together and I considered her a good friend. She will be missed.

Heartfelt thoughts go out to Pat’s family in this time of sorrow. Worked with Pat during my Osco and CVS days. Pat was a true shoot strait speaker. Always willing to help out and educate.
Sending prayers to all. We will truly miss you Pat!

Our family is so sorry for your loss. My husband worked with Pat some years back. She was a wonderful woman with a big heart. She made a couple of beautiful blankets for our twin girls. Our girls love their blankets and for one it has become a “lovey” nicknamed her snappy blanket – because she puts her thumb through a hole and snaps it into her mouth. Pat was always crocheting hats and blankets and I envied her dedication to helping others. May your family be comforted by the fact that a little of her is in every item she made helping others.
