Patrick Melville, 59 of Kansas City, Missouri passed away unexpectedly May 20, 2022.
Patrick’s Celebration of Life will take place Saturday June 25th, 2022 at 10:00am at River Church Family- 6400 Woodson. Raytown, MO 64133. (816) 356-7400
Patrick was born on August 21, 1962 to parents Edward and Cyndra Melville in Dallas, Texas.
Shortly after, he and his family moved to Kansas City, MO, where he would meet his wife of 31 years, Kellie Melville. Through their union, he gained a daughter, Erika and would later have a son, Kyle. They were eventually blessed with 7 grandchildren. He loved his entire family to pieces and adored spending time with them as much as he could.
Some of his best memories were made by cuddling up with his family while watching a good movie, mastering his ribs and chili recipes, and even as simple as standing in the yard sharing life experiences over a cold beer. He also loved being outdoors. Whether it was taking his grandchildren to the park, burning food over a campfire, or exploring with his wife to find all of the natural beauty they could; he was always at home amongst God’s creation.
Patrick was beautifully human. He embraced his flaws with open honesty, yielding an emotional intelligence that provided a loving home for his family. He was never afraid to be himself. He brought many years of laughter and smiles to anyone that knew him. Above all, he devoted himself completely to his marriage and his children. If something were ever to go wrong in any of their lives, he was always the first, if not only one there. He was so very intelligent, yet held a humility about him that kept him always open to learning and willing to help those in need. In any crisis, you could count on him to always somehow dig you out.
He was a foundational rock, a beacon of love, a well of knowledge, and a best friend.
We will miss his vibrant spirit, his golden heart, his silly demeanor, his giant Pooky bear hugs, and the shimmering twinkle in his eye every day.
Patrick was preceded in death by his parents; Step-daughter, Erika Miller.
Patrick is survived by his wife, Kellie Melville and his son, Kyle Melville.

My Condolences to the family. I was lucky to have know Patrick back in the early 80s, we hung out together, worked together and explored together. We lost touch for a long time but just recently talked to each other on the phone, I was so happy to talk to Patrick on the phone , a 1/2 on the phone with Pat I will remember for ever.
Rest Easy Patrick.
My most heartfelt condolence to all of Pat’s family and loved ones. I never got the chance to be a close friend/family member, but thru Kellie and Ross over close to 20 years I remember Pat as always having a smile, a hug, laid back and willing to do whatever was needed. The thing I will always remember most is how supportive he was at all times with his wife, Kellie, who I dearly love . The pain and suffering this beautiful women and her son, Kyle are going thru now after losing Erika and Pat both, few of us can imagine. Bless all of you. Rebecca Flack
