Peggy Wilson, 81, of Independence, Missouri passed away January 24, 2017.  A visitation will be held 10:00 – 11:00 AM, Monday, January 30th, 2017 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, MO.  A Celebration of Life will follow at 11:00 AM at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society.  Burial in Mt. Washington Cemetery, Independence, Missouri.

Peggy was born October 9, 1935 in Eldon, Missouri to Roy & Burie Irene (Jenkins) Gosney.  She will be missed by all of her family for whom she dearly loved.

She was preceded in death by; parents; daughter, Julie Rosenhamer; great grandson, Joseph Six; three brothers and one sister.  Survivors include; daughter, Janet Wilson, Independence, Missouri; sister, Edith Warren, Independence, Missouri; five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

    I didn’t know Peggy well, but I can say that the two girls she raised Brooke and Kelley turned out to be amazing women. Thank you for them and all the gifts they give to us.
