“Life like a mist, appears for just a day, then disappears tomorrow. All that we are can quickly fade away, replaced with tears
and sorrow. If a man should die, can he live again? Hear the promise God has made: ‘He will call; The dead will answer.
They shall live at His Command. For He will have a longing for the work of His Own Hand.’
So have faith and do not wonder, for our God can make us stand. And we shall live forever, as the work of His Own Hand.”
Job 14:13-15; John 6:40; John 5:28,29; John 11:25
Never heard him say a negative word about anyone. His kindness was unmatched and his love for family was without an equal. Ray will be missed but not forgotten. The joy he spread lives on in anyone lucky enough to have known him.
Enjoyed what little time I spent with Ray. Got to spend time with him at his daughter’s and my stepsons wedding in Mexico. Always a gentleman with a great heart, it was a privilege knowing him. RIP Ray.
Dearest Peggy – you and all the family are in my prayers. May God’s spirit bring you comfort and peace through your loving memories of Ray and the love of your many friends. Sending much love and hugs.
He will always be my best friend!!
I’m just so sad that I missed out on so many years with Ray. Peggy and Jackie will always have Ray in their hearts. Sending you both much love.
Mindy
We could have not asked for a better uncle! I remember everything you did for me and all the kindness you carried for all of us! I remember when you and Peg were dating, being in the wedding and dragging Casey up the aisle. All the trouble my dad, grandpa and Buddy gave you! We love you Uncle Ray, guess you needed to make dads bday party in heaven. I love you. You are our ” Freebird” forever and always. I will forever buy my lotto tix now for you as you did for me, play the blues and remember all our fun going to see the blues band live and listening to SRV and all the rest. May you be with all our loved ones in heaven and rest in peace! We will try to watch over Peg and Jackie for you. I miss you. Kath
