I have so many fond memories of Rich. He was always smiling and laughing. Never forget the time Jill and I were in the car and he hit an ice spot in the road and we all hit our heads on the roof. We cracked up for days. My heart goes out to all of you. xoxo

All of his kids did loving impressions of their father… Ha!
What an amazing man, with a wide smile legacy. Your family showed me what love looked like, and how laughter could flow and smiles could be free. I felt welcome in your home, and I cherish your family, and Richard’s lead of it. I rejoice over his life, and celebrate his journey through it, he blessed anyone who met him, including me. Love you Richard. Love you Barbara, Scott, Jill, Brett, and Lynn. My heart is with you.

Thanks Rich and the Reineck family for so many great memories and for opening up your house to us espesially during the holidays. Rich will be missed.
Including his humor, I carry Rich in my daily memory for his grounded sensibility, he is still my example for being a reasonable person in the world. – love to the whole family, eric
I knew your dad for a long time and he was a great father and great guy. I wish I could have spent more time with him. Best wishes to your family. Hope to see you all soon.
Life is fleeting.
Love is not.
We walked with Rich at Oak Park Mall. We always looked forward to seeing him and sitting down for a few minutes to razz each other. We saw Rich about 10 days before his passing…wish I had known it would be the last time on this earth. Loved this guy and his Snickers.
Dear Barbara and family, My first message didn’t go through so I will try again.
We have so many happy memories of times with you and Rich.
Our trip to Alaska was amazing. Every minute.
Rich was always interested in everything and everyone around him. He was bigger than life. We will miss him.
We will be checking on you.
Love to all of you.
