Robert Driver

Robert Driver, 63, passed away peacefully at home Sunday, February 18, 2018. He was born June 17, 1954 in Kansas City, MO and is preceded in death by his parents Benjamin & Betty Driver.

“His wings were ready but our hearts were not.”

He is survived by his 2 daughters; Michelle & Jennifer Driver, son in-law David Castro, stepson Mark Tripses, 4 beautiful grandchildren; Lexis (19), Lawna (14), Landon (5) & Rylee (2), 5 brothers; Ben, Michael, Gregory, Johnnie, Patrick, & 2 Sisters; Kathy & Mishell.

Robert was a devoted father, always witty, loved his coffee, cars and always very passionate about his health. Robert was one of those guys that you couldn’t help but love and was loved by so many. Knowing Robert he was a cool, hilarious, laid back guy that loved his card games, movies and music. Also very much loved the lake, whether it be fishing or enjoying the scenery. It didn’t matter the mood, he always knew how to make everyone laugh.  His children will always remember their father as having the biggest heart of gold. Always willing to help anyone with anything without question, especially his girls. Robert was always stopping to give to the homeless, he picked up his granddaughters daily after school and he would talk to his daughters until the wee hours into the morning.

“I wish heaven had a phone so I could hear your voice one last time.”

We love you so much, you will forever remain alive in our hearts and memories. Though we are learning to live without you we still miss you so very much. It’s not goodbye but “later alligator” and have a cold one ready for us!
