A brother can be many things, a teacher, a protector, a provider, a comforter, older, younger, and A second father. This brother was all of those things and more. He wiped away my tears, he calmed my fears, he was a best friend. Anyone that knew him knows he was one of the best. He was gentle and kind and would give you his last dollar. If you were cold he would give you his shirt. Not many can measure up to him. I will miss my brother and can’t imagine my life without him. God gained an angel. I love you brother.

Ron was one of the good guys. He did quite a lot of maintenance work in the Murrell Library when I worked there, and could be counted on for some good stories, about the college and about his fishing expeditions. Be at peace, Ronnie.

Ronnie was always one of those jack of all trades, carpentry to construction, mechanic to garden ,he so loved the outdoor, and it loved him back, teaching him to be an accomplished hunter and fisherman, I am sure he is in heaven reliving the days he found several buckets of wild mushrooms . He always loved giving everyone those fumy nicknames , even if you didn’t like them as much, he smiled always as he teased you, always in fun.
He was also a damn good Dad , which can be easily seen in the caliber of his children and the love they have for him. The family is all in my prayers , as I take a deep breath know Ronnie will never hurt again. God bless you all.

Ronnie was so kind! Really one of those people that looked for the good in this world! He always made my mom smile with each call! Such a loving and giving man! We all could take a note on being as selfless as you! It was such a honor to know you and love you! Each hunting journey we go on I will always think of you! Thank you for showing my family how to hunt mushrooms and how to cook them. A moment we will cherish! We will miss you!

  24. Andrew Brown on May 12, 2020 at 8:50 pm

I’m grateful for the opportunity to meet Ronnie and mushroom hunt with him at Doug’s. We talked about turkey hunting and fishing the rivers. You could tell his passion for the outdoors just by listening to his stories. I enjoyed hearing Gayle and Paula tell stories about growing up with Ronnie. You will be missed.
