I got to know Rusty over many years at our family get-togethers over the holidays at Jon and Laura’s house. I really enjoyed talking with him. We became good friends and I will miss him very much.
Uncle Rusty meant the world to me. We shared a lot of memories together like NASCAR racing, family events and most of all, we shared many bloody Mary’s together. He was my outlaw and will be missed always! He always called me kid, that I will miss the most Forever in my heart.
Rest In Peace, love you Uncle Rusty.
Love to the Arnold family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I remember he was a sweet and kind man. I won’t be able to attend the memorial but I will be there in my prayers. Love you, DeDe(Boyce)LeVota.
Uncle Rusty, He was one of the first to welcome me with a drink when I started coming around.
He was what I imagine when I thought to be retired. A cool, kind, funny bad#*s. He was the epitome of cool! He was the one person I looked forward to and hoped was at family gatherings.
He had the most contagious laugh and could get me rolling in no time.
His stories were the best real life history lessons and when told you could have almost been there.
I loved his Bloody Mary’s, I loved that he loved loud fireworks as much as I do. I loved that the times we got out we raised a bit of trouble but made it home safe and sound.
I am so glad I got to know you. You were my guy, I will miss you more than I can express. I know you are always going to be looking down cool as can be watching us all. We will meet again to have a drink and a laugh old man. I love ya.
I met Uncle Rusty about 22 years ago. Trevor brought me to my first Christmas Eve get together. I got to try the “Nawg” for the first time. Rusty put extra nutmeg on mine so I could drink it. Trevor, the boys and I will miss Rusty so very much. Rest In Peace Uncle Rusty.
So sorry to hear of Rusty’s passing. Great friend and loved his laugh.
