After college, Ryan moved to Phoenix, AZ to work at General Dynamics in the aerospace division for 12 years before returning to Kansas City in 2014. For the last five years, Ryan worked at Lynxspring, Inc. in Lee’s Summit, MO as a Sr. Software Engineer.
Some of Ryan’s favorite moments included traveling the world with his family to places like Mexico, Egypt, Jordan, Iceland, Hawaii and several others. Ryan had great zeal for new adventures, whether it be scuba diving, hot air ballooning, deep sea fishing, or enjoying unique cuisine. Ryan’s curiosity and creativity were inspirational as he enjoyed making things that had purpose. He also loved playing computer games with his brother, watching the Chiefs’ and Royals games, golfing, cooking, and cuddling with the family dog, Gracie.
Ryan is greatly missed and survived by his parents, Steve and Donna Young, and his brother and sister-in-law, Tyler and Reina Young. He loved his family and friends dearly- he will live forever in our hearts.

Words could never express how we all feel for your lose of Ryan. We will never forget his huge smile and loving heart he showed to us always in a big way. Ryan always had time and the patience to help solve a technical problem no matter how big or small, a true genius. From the first day we meet Ryan had accepted us as Family and the love grew through the years. Boy could he barbeque a mean meal of which we had the pleasure of consuming many times. He loved a joke, gag or prank on any of us at anytime. He was a joy to be around and we had many a good laugh. He is at Peace. The Lord has taken Ryan for his own reason and purpose, so we will accept it and honour Ryan with our love for each other each and every day in an unconditional way. We pray for you all each day that Gods mercy will ease your pain and sooth your heart and soul and find final comfort in Life. Ryan always was and will be Family and in our hearts, mind and soul. We Love you always, especially at this difficult period in your lives. God bless the Yound Family.
