Sally M. Spurlock, 86, of Raymore, Missouri passed away September 21, 2021 at KC Hospice House. Visitation will be held from 3:00-4:00pm Monday, September 27, 2021 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, MO 64133.
Sally was born December 16, 1934 in Kansas City, MO. She grew up in a large, loving family of eight children. Her sister, Evelyn passed away during childhood leaving Sally the only girl being raised with six brothers. Sally enjoyed a long career as a manicurist, working in several of the more exclusive Kansas City area salons. She enjoyed many large family gatherings which generally included playing cards. She loved her family, her husband, Jon and of course her poodles.
She was preceded in death by: parents, Thomas and Grace Gorman; husband, Jon Spurlock; sister, Evelyn; brothers, Leo, Thomas, Lavern, Kenneth, Patrick, and Daniel Gorman.
Survivors include: beloved nieces and nephews: Kay, Trish, Nancy, Rose, Lisa, Dana, Dennis, Steve, Mark, John, and Kevin.
