Sandra was born in Estherville, Iowa January 27, 1939 to Alvin C. Myrick and Signa C. Myrick and died July 10, 2022 in Overland Park, Kansas.
Sandra grew up in Lake Park, Iowa where she worked at the family-owned State Theatre and joyfully sang in her church choir.
Sandra was a gifted singer who attended Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa and toured with the college choir.
As a young mother, Sandra nurtured into her children a love of breakfast food, a sweet tooth and a strong work ethic.
As a dedicated professional, Sandra worked as a dental assistant and nurse and also as an educator in both fields. Sandra switched medical fields at age 40. She pursued and earned her Degree in Nursing through Meramec Community College in St. Louis, Missouri.
Sandra found delight in many trips to Hawaii, golf, music, gardening, and home decorating. She also made great chocolate chip cookies.
Preceded in death by both of her parents and brother (Dr. Mickey Myrick (Wichita, KS)).
Survived by Husband David Lage (Leawood, KS), her dog, Allie, brother Monte Myrick (Dianne) (Kansas, OK), sister-in-law Kay Myrick (Olathe, KS), children: Craig Wohlers (Pamela) (Plano, TX), Lori Donnelly (Brian) (Ballwin, MO) and Ryan Wohlers (Debbie) (Ellisville, MO) and step-children: Paul Lage (Margaret) (Mt. Juliet, TN), Jeff Lage (St. Louis, MO) and Scott Lage (McComb, IL), along with twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
