Sandra Lou Adams

Sandra Lou Medley Adams of Raymore, Missouri, passed away on January 26, 2023.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on February 1st, 2023 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society in Raytown, MO.

Sandra was born on May 7, 1942 in Lebanon, MO to Lowell Medley and Zelma Clayton Medley.  On Dec 7, 1963 she was married to Jackie Paul Adams and to this union one son was born.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Danny Medley.  Survivors Include: husband of 59 years Jack P Adams, Son Michael D Adams, and one Grandchild Nicholas C. Adams.

Sandra graduated High School in 1961 from Lebanon HS, Attended Southwest Missouri College for a few years. She then went on to get married and have a son while working and building a family life. Later in life she took on the entrepreneur enterprise of creating her own cleaning business and providing support and assistance in upbringing her grandchild. After that she took a very active role in supporting her husband in the VFW and became an Auxiliary VFW officer herself.

She was known to the family as the “HUGGING” cousin, and a laugh that made everyone else laugh and smile. She knew how to make everyone feel special, and anyone that knew her always said how much they adored her and how she was a very special lady. She had a very special relationship with our “Lord and Savior.” She told everyone she ever had contact with how special they were in what they did in life and how much God/Jesus loved them.

She was a strong lady with lots of fight in her. Almost nothing would stop her from getting better after having several health issues over the last severely years. She always did everything within her power to provide and assist her family until the very end.

She will be severely missed by friends, family, and anyone that knew her, but the wonderful memories she created for all that new her will live on forever.
