Shellie Antel
Charlotte “Shellie” Frosh Antel, 89, of Columbia, died January 9, 2017, at The Neighborhoods by Tiger Place.
No services will be held.
She was born November 18, 1927, in Denver, Colorado to Joseph and Anna Frosh. She studied fine arts at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She married Jerome S. Antel, Jr. on June 22, 1952, in Washington, D.C. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed painting landscape and floral subjects and crafting beautiful jewelry pieces from fine pearls and unique beads. She and her husband loved to travel and dance. She was an avid reader and until the recent months always had a book in hand.
She is survived by her son Rusty (Debbie) and grandsons Mike and Jon. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and four siblings.
Her family appreciates the excellent and loving care provided by The Neighborhoods staff during her final years.

My deepest sympathies to the family. A person’s mother can be a driving force in ones life and have such an impact when she is no longer with you. God has his plans for her and for you all.
