Sheri Diane West, 63, of Kansas City, MO passed away January 5, 2022. A joint service for Gary and Sheri West will be held at 12:00pm, Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, Raytown, MO. Visitation will be held prior to the service at 11:00am. Gary and Sheri will be laid to rest at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, MO. GARY AND SHERI’S MEMORIAL SERVICE.
Sheri was born November 28, 1958 in Arkansas, KS. She grew up in Kansas City and attended North Kansas City high school. Sheri married Gary West, July 22, 1977. She had two sons, Christopher and Brandon. She lived in Texas while her husband worked for the railroad. She worked various jobs including working for Sally Hanson until she retired. Sheri has two step-children, Angela and Gary Jr. She loved her husband, children, grandchildren, and the rest of her family with all her heart.
She was preceded in death by: son, Gary Lee West, Jr; son, Christopher West; father, Harry Tharp; and mother, Arlene Tharp.
Survivors include: husband, Gary West; daughter, Angela (David) Wolgamott; son, Brandon West; daughter-in-law, Rachel Sumler; 13 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brothers, William (Sheila) Tharp and Darrell (Cora) Tharp; and sister, Cindy (Rick) Bradley.
