Shirley A Stephens, 90, of Raytown, MO passed at KC Hospice House on September 17, 2021 with her daughter, Melinda and granddaughter, Nicole by her side.
Shirley was born in Kansas City, KS to Marvin and Pauline (Perkins) Mayhugh on July 5, 1931. She was one of three children.
Shirley was preceded in death by: parents; loving husband of 55 years, Freddie; first born baby girl; and her son, Lee Price.
She is survived by: sister, Gloria Sartin of KS; brother, Marc Mayhugh of KS; stepdaughter, Melinda Reece, of MO; son, William Price of TX; Aaron Price (Cassie) of CO whom she raised; multiple other nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Shirley was a waitress most of her life. She worked at the Gold Buffet for many years prior to retiring to travel and enjoy life with her husband. They enjoyed traveling the United States, seeing many sites in countless states and cities. Taking in the beauty of our Country; fishing, cooking and camping.
