Susan Lorraine Culbertson, 54, of Odessa, MO passed away April 26, 2022 at Centerpoint Medical Center with her family by her side. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Culbertson was born July 22, 1967 in Simi Valley, California. She often enjoyed sharing popsicles with the neighborhood kids in the summertime, trout fishing, filling her heart with worship music, and most importantly, spending time with her grandbabies. She was a genuine friend to all who always put the needs of others before her own. Susan was often referred to as “the sweetest person you could meet” – a popular opinion held by many. She was a beloved wife, mother, Nonni, and friend, and she will be greatly missed.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Liver Foundation.

Thanking of you all. I am so sorry for your loss. She was such a beautiful woman and left behind such a legacy.
I knew Susan for many years. We shared alot of stories-lots of laughs together and some sad times. She was a warrior against breast cancer and always had her pink ribbons ( and her frogs) in sight! She loved her family very much and I know they will miss her bad. I do know she was saved and had a Christian heart. I pray for the peace in her family’s heart and know in mine she is in a better place now. ?

Till we meet again Little Sis In Jesus Name????
I worked with Susan for several years. She was a good person and always so positive. In a workplace as large as ours it was difficult to trust people but I always trusted Susan. I guess God needed her somewhere else but I know she will always be missed by her family and many friends.
Sending prayers and condolences. So appreciative that I had the opportunity to meet such an amazing, funny, and kind person in my lifetime. One of my favorite moments among many is sitting at your house in the living-room as the night went on and Susan put a baseball cap on sideways and was throwing up hand gestures at Katie and I across the room until we were giggling at how goofy and random it all was. I just keep having these images of moments like that with all the laughs flash through my mind and just wanted to share a story of what a quick/strong impact she made on others. Sending your family all the best and wishing I could send more.
To Rick, Amanda and Katie… your whole world has just been deflated. Your most beloved Wife, Mother and Grandma is now just beyond the veil. She’s waiting for you… She’s so awaiting the reunion with you that is to come! Our Heavenly Father has given her his very best! My heart cries for you, the times between now and the time to come… be strong, know, that the promise is yet to come <3
Susan was such a beautiful person. Always put others before herself and she always smiled even when she didn’t always feel like smiling. Rick, you and the girls have our prayers. Susan will truly be missed but Heaven gained a real Saint.
We have known Susan the past few years through church and working together. What a wonderful woman! She was full of kindness, loved her family deeply, and fiercely battled through all the tough times with her health. Her life is an inspiration and message on the lasting legacy of living through love and courage. We miss her deeply and pray that the peace of God be multiplied on Rick, Amanda, Katy, Erica, and her beautiful grandchildren, as well as many many friends that she leaves behind.
