Theodore L. “Ted” Snively

Ted L. Snively, 62, of Independence, Missouri, died Sunday, December 7, 2014, at the home, following a long illness.  He was born September 13, 1952, and was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Dora Snively, and brother, Kenton Snively.  He is survived by his wife, Vickie Snively, as well as his sister, Sharon Wear (Bill), and brother, Ronald Snively (Peggy), as well as two nieces, five nephews, and seven great nieces and nephews.
Ted dearly loved his family and friends, and wished so badly that he could have enjoyed being with them more fully.  He impressed and inspired so many people by his kind and mild manner, wit, musical ability, creativity, and love.  He especially loved his God Jehovah, and therefore symbolized his dedication to him by baptism on February 28, 1987.  He looks forward to honoring his God forever when he is resurrected to a paradise earth under God’s Messianic Kingdom.
Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on December 13, 2014, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2885 S. Hardy Ave., Independence, MO.  Contributions may be made to the Independence North Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.  Arrangements:  Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, (816) 313-1677. Sorry for the loss of Ted. He was a cousin, but sadly over the years we weren’t able to stay in touch with that wing of the clan very much. Our condolences to the family.

Vickie, I was so sorry to hear of Ted’s passing. He has always had a special place in my heart since high school, as he always made me laugh with his great sense of humor. I know you miss him; I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

I miss Ted, he was one of my very best friends. We grew up together as Jehovah’s Witnesses. I just wanted to say that I’ve never known anyone in life as good-hearted and unselfish as he was. He was a true friend that would have my back, as I had his throughout our years. He will be missed, but always remembered.
    Eric
