Velma Dalton, 75, of Grandview passed away October 20, 2021. Memorial services were held at 9:00am, Friday, October 22, 2021 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, Raytown, MO. Velma was born May 22, 1946 in Gravois Mills, MO.
She was preceded in death by: both parents, Dink Merriott and Nora Peterson; siblings, Robert Merriott and Stella Garcia; and granddaughter, Alisha Lamm.
Survivors include: children, Theresa (Earl) Lamm of Tipton, MO, Michael (Jenn) Capps of Stover, MO, and Kelsey (fiance Will) of Blue Springs, MO; grandchildren, Tabitha (Randy Jr.) Belt of Tipton, MO, Markell and MarQuon, Jr. Pattillo of Blue Springs, MO, Becky, Zahary, Jason, Nicci, Mykah and Mike, Jr.; and various great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

I was truly honor to spend and get to know Ms Velma.
She was like my play mom we had some good laughs together. I will always keep her in a special place in my heart. May she rest in peace. Thanks to Kelsey and the family for sharing her with me ?
