Vicki Lynn Kingsley

Vicki Lynn Kingsley, 72, of Kansas City lost her battle with lung cancer April 3rd, 2022, at KC Hospice House. Celebration of Life visitation will be held Saturday, April 16th, 2022, from 10am – 12pm at Heartland Cremation and Burial Society, Raytown, MO.

Vicki was born June 12th, 1949, in Blue Island Illinois. In 1962, her family moved to Lake Ozark where they opened Willi-Tay resort by the Bagnell Dam. Vicki graduated High School at School of the Osage in 1967 where she started working for Howard Johnson Restaurant and Lodge. She met her first husband, Dennis Hukill, in 1969. Shortly after they gave birth to their first and only child Jon Christopher Hukill in 1971. After moving to the Kansas City area in the early 80s, she met and later married her second husband, Karl Kingsley in 1998, where they lived until her recent passing.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Dorothy and Joseph Taylor, brothers Thomas and Robert Taylor, sister Beverly Hess, and brother-in-law George Kingsley.

Survivors include husband Karl Kingsley, son Jon Hukill (wife Julie Neal), grandkids Chase and Kadyn Hukill, Riley and Jacob Neal, John and Kurt Kingsley, Jenna Lomonte (husband Joshua Lomonte), sister Carol Norton, brother Joseph Taylor Jr., brother-in-law Gene Kingsley (wife Mary Kingsley), nieces Lori Moffat (husband Craig Moffat), Robin Wiley (Husband Jaye Wiley), Donna Swope (husband Ryan Swope), and Connie Taylor.

In remembrance of Vicki’s life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to KC Hospice House at 12000 Wornall Road, Kansas City, MO 64145.

    She loved her entire family wholeheartedly and unconditionally. She had so very much pride & love for her son Jon, it was wonderful to witness. Thanks for welcoming me and being such a fantastic mother in law. Rest In Peace. ??
