Wayne Burd, Raytown, MO passed away Feb. 23, 2013 at Lawson Manor, Lawson, MO. A memorial service will be held 2 PM, Monday, March 4, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Raytown. Visitation will precede the service and begin at 1 PM. Mr. Burd was born Nov. 4, 1934 in Alliance, Nebraska.  Wayne was an electrician for Ford Motor Company for 40 years.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.  He is survived by his wife Shirley, 4 children, 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

    Wayne was a distant relative, but a good friend, and the reason I became a Mason. He will truly be missed.
