Willard “Billy” Don Ozell White of Blue Springs, MO born August 18, 1973, passed away November 14, 2021, after a brave battle with a recent illness. He was truly a legend with a heart of gold and was such a hard worker. Billy was loved by all that knew him and never met a stranger. He was easily the funniest person around with an absolutely infectious laugh. Billy was very passionate about his children and grandchildren and wanted nothing more than to be a part of their lives and create special memories. They were his whole world and he had the best stories of them to tell. Billy wouldn’t want his loved ones to be upset in his passing but rather us carry along all the memories and stories that we have of him.
Billy is survived by: daughter, Kayla Driver and her fiancé, Quinn Devine; grandson, Kade Devine; daughter, Morgan Driver; grandson, Malachi Wood; son, Ryan Driver; daughter, Brenda Driver; sister, Michelle White; nephew, Vincent Massood; niece, Harley Boley; sister, Kimberly Quick; brother-in-law, Jeremy Fales; nephews, Jeremy Fales, Jr. and Brett Fales; niece Zoey Fales; sister, Raven Morgan; sister, Amanda Kendrick; brother, Danny Mason; beloved chosen parents, David and Pamela Haug; and his loyal Saint Bernard, Teddy.
Celebration of life will be from 1:00pm – 5:00pm on December 4, 2021 at VFW, 5904 Crystal Kansas City, MO 64129. A gathering commentary to explain his battle with those who wish to hear will be held from 1:00pm – 5:00pm on November 21, 2021 VFW, 5904 Crystal Kansas City, MO 64129.
There is a big hole in our hearts but all the great memories cherished.
Oh how I will miss your smile, your laugh and always positive replies no matter what the situation.
I wish our business venture would have evolved and that we still had been working together.
Will, you will forever remain in my thoughts.
Thank you seems so weak when I think of all you have done for me in such a short time. I am so proud of the man you grew up to be. You genuinely cared for us all. You truly enjoyed celebrating all things good in everyone you spoke to. I learned so much from your simple yet meaningful teachings. I wish for you a peaceful journey.
‘To the world, you may be just one person.
To one person, you may be the world.’
Peace be with you always, big brother.
First obituary that was not inflated bullshit. Truly a loss to this world when he left but anyone that knows Billy knows he hasn’t left any of us. I have said it everytime I say his name, the most beautiful man I have ever known.???
Billy, there will never be another one like you ever. You were the kindest, smartest and funniest man I ever met. This world will never be the same without you in it. If everyone in the world could hear just one conversation you had with your son there would be utter peace and excellence in the world if everyone else did the same with theirs. My heart is shattered for you all and I will think of you and will pray for you for a lifetime.
There is never a day that doesn’t go by that I don’t think of you!!! Size 12 does too!! The way you claimed my daughter as yours. Listening to “roses” with you. Going to roller derby! JUST EVERYTHING!! I have such a hole in my sole that just will never be filled!! You helped me through and protected me from my anxiety at times. I miss you with everything in me. My heart is broke!! You were the best!!
Sadly I’m just finding out about your loss. Billy was in my graduating class and we were looking for contact information for him as this fall we are having our 30th reunion. I’m sorry to hear of this news. I remember him being a kind and funny guy in class. During our reunion we will be having a time of remembrance for those classmates that we have lost. I’ll be adding his name to that list and we will be thinking of him and your family. Hope your memories of him are strong and carrying you all through.
