Willa Mae Willingham was born August 10, 1959 to Jesse and Mamie Willingham in Springfield, IL and came to Kansas City, KS at a young age. She gave her life to Christ at an early age.
She leaves behind five kids, Irene and Margarine Yates, Robert, Jarome and Brandon Willingham; five siters, Rhonda, Jackie, Shirley, Maxine and Edna Willingham; she leaves behind a host of aunts and uncles, grandkids, cousins, nephews and nieces.
Willa enjoyed life. She loved laughing, cooking, watching her favorite TV shows. She also loved hanging out with family and most of all she loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She will be truly missed!
A memorial service will be held, at 10:00am July 12, 2022 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, MO 64133. To watch the memorial service live, click HERE.

My dearest mother, because of you i am the woman I am today.because of you I have a whole different view at life and how precious it truly is….. because of you, I’m forever grateful… Because of you I know what patience looks like. Because of you I know what love looks like… Me best friend, companion and mentor… I’m forever grateful love you Mom.
Willa u were a good person but now u are with God because he knows what is right for u and your family. and u lived a good, happy life and we know u were tired so your time was up and we all have times to go to heaven and we love u so very much. We are gonna miss u.
Sis, you will always be in my heart and thoughts. I remember sharing rooms with you growing up. We used to get ourselves in trouble at times, but we had so much fun. I’m gonna remember your laughter and that is what I will keep in my mind and heart. I will.always love you and miss you sis
Sis I’m goin to truly miss you I remember all the time we spent together laughing and talking enjoying each other’s company. You were everything to me. And my backbone when I needed someone there for me you was always there though thick and thin.I know what you went through but Almighty God loved you more he don’t make no mistakes. You will always be in my heart. Love you!!
